Letter of Disclosure
Dear congregation member;
As part of our efforts to ensure the safety of everyone who attends the church we are sending this message to advise you that one person from the church's congregation has tested positive for COVID 19. The affected person attended the 7:00 am - 9:30 am Divine Liturgy on Sunday April 4th. 2021.
The risk of transmission of COVID 19 is high with direct contact with the infected person. The risk increases if you were not wearing your mask properly, you were involved in a conversation with others or you came closer than 2 meters to others.
If you attended this liturgy, we recommend the following:
1. You and your family self-isolate at this time till you get professional advice and guidance from a health care provider or York Region Public Health.
2. Self monitor for any signs or symptoms within the following 7 days.
3. If you or one of your family members show any of the COVID symptoms, consult a medical professional ASAP and it is recommended to get tested.
3. Take any more actions that you may feel necessary for your safety and the safety of your family and others.
We ask you kindly to respect the privacy of the affected person and support them with your prayers.
