Tree Planting
On Sunday, April 11 from 5-6pm all youth are invited to meet in the Kirk House Courtyard. With the assistance of the Property Committee, the youth and youth advisors will plant a Saucer Magnolia in front of the Kirk House to beautify our church campus and celebrate this year’s youth Sunday worship service. Be sure to wear closed toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Participants may also want to bring work gloves, a bottle of water, and safety glasses.
Happy are those
who do not follow the advice of the wicked,
or take the path that sinners tread,
or sit in the seat of scoffers;
but their delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law they meditate day and night.
They are like trees
planted by streams of water,
which yield their fruit in its season,
and their leaves do not wither.
In all that they do, they prosper.
-Psalm 1:1-3
