Questions from Jesus                                                         
Focus this Sunday:
Last Sunday, we started into a new sermon series called Questions from Jesus. We often focus on getting answers to the questions we have for God, but in this series, we are looking at what Jesus wants to know about us. Jesus has an amazing knack at asking questions that get right to the heart of our lives. What does He want to know about you?
This is also our Local Care Offering Sunday. Once a month we take an offering that is used to help those who need some help in our own church family. This is also the Sunday when we introduce our new Board Team. Our Welcome Lunch is scheduled following the service. If you are new with us, plan to eat lunch with us! Get to know us a little better. Reflection Questions:
1. What is one thing that stood out to you from this week’s message?
2. In what ways are you waiting to be healed by Jesus?
3. In what ways do you think you’ve hindered yourself, intentionally or not, from receiving the healing God has for you?
4. Do you sometimes find yourself, like the invalid, giving explanations or excuses to God instead of direct answers?
5. What does it mean that healing has nothing to do with us but everything to do with the compassion of Jesus?
6. Why does God sometimes choose to say no to healing?
7. How can we encourage and pray for each other as we live into God's ways this week?
