How to Help Our Neighbors

On April 6, 2021, our neighbors at the 89th and 34th Ave apartment building suffered a massive fire. ALL of the 133 units were damaged, over 400 people have been displaced. A community made up of majority low-income, working class, immigrant essential workers, already experiencing the aftermath of COVID-19 are now without their homes. 

The building's tenants association (89Street Tenants Unidos) has a Go Fund Me page where we can offer direct financial support for the victims of this tragedy.
