Changing Our Approach to Helping with COVID-19 Vaccinations

Given feedback to what was written in yesterday’s church email, we are revising our approach of offering help to those in our congregation who may want to be vaccinated.

Rather than initiate contact with every member and friend of our church family, we invite you to contact us. Anyone who wishes help or assistance with vaccinations please contact our Director of Caring Ministries, Colleen Soldate, either by email Colleen@fpcsantarosa.org or phone (707) 328-5465.

Among the ways we can be of help are:

1. Securing a vaccination appointment and/or assist with scheduling an in-home vaccination for those who qualify.
2. Transportation to an appointment.
3. Obtaining information about the vaccines.
4. Identifying neighbors or friends within the wider community who may need assistance.

I (Dale) apologize for the previous communication. I simply wanted our church to be of help and support to those who may wish to be vaccinated or need more information in order to decide. It was not my intent to be intrusive about personal medical information nor to identify who has or who has not been vaccinated.
