Guardian Angels exists to reach out from the Altar of Christ to educate, serve and evangelize.
Dear Parents,

Our teachers and staff would like to wish you a  blessed  Easter season.  We would also like to thank all of you that made sure that your children were able to do online learning with their teachers this week.  We will be so happy to be back in class next week. Classes will resume as normal.
We are making the  plans for the last 7 weeks of school.  Can you believe it is coming up so soon? Below you will see our calendar of events.  Some things might need a little tweaking yet but we want you to know what is coming up so you can plan accordingly.
Dr. Briscoe will be out the next couple of weeks. His brother has gone into hospice care and Dr. Briscoe is going to be his caregiver for as long as necessary.  We would like you to keep him and his family in your prayers during this hard journey.  Thank you and God Bless.
A message from our Pastor

Dear School Parents,

Easter Blessings to You!

If you haven’t yet had a conversation with Lynn or Roxie about enrolling in a neighboring Catholic school, please call Lynn at 952-227-4000 or Roxie at 952-227-4010 right away. Just let them know what neighboring Catholic school you want your child or children to attend, and Lynn will work with you and leaders at the school of your choice to finalize the scholarship details. The goal is for you to pay no more for tuition at another Catholic school than you are paying here at Guardian Angels.
It takes some time to make the arrangements, so we want to make sure these conversations are happening now.

We look forward to seeing your children back in school in person next week!

Father Tony VanderLoop

On Monday, April 19th from 4 to 6, a group of teachers and students will be coming over from St. Joseph School in Waconia to talk to us about their school.  They will be setting up a table and will answer any questions we have.

If you are still up in the air about choosing what area catholic school to go to please come and listen to what they have to share.  More info will be coming.
This week most of our students were at home doing online classes with their teachers.  But there were some people that were here at school doing their thing.  Preschool had classes as usual.  Mrs. Vannett was the connection to help some 1st-3rd grade students to get online at school with their teachers. And I met with a few kindergartners online and in person.  Plus I started cleaning out cupboards.  (Teacher--another name for hoarder. haha Maybe it is just me.)

We had a couple of birthdays during the 2 weeks while we were out.  We would like to wish Ramon in preschool a happy birthday on March 31st.  He turned 5. Lily in kindergarten turned 6 on April 7th. And Daniel in preschool turned 4 on April 9th.
Happy Birthday Everyone!!!
This is an excerpt from an email from our school nurse.

 Belated Happy Easter!

I wanted to make sure you are in the loop with the latest from Carver County Health Department.  There is a real push at getting all teachers vaccinated as well as planning for prom and graduations. We still need to maintain our mitigation measures with masking, socially distancing, hand washing and vaccinations.  I want to encourage staff and families to keep their kids home if they are sick (that includes HA, nasal congestion/runny nose, cough, sore throat... refer to the decision tree) and to contact Roxie as for the reason they are staying home.  If a family member is ill and getting COVID tested, other family members need to stay home until those results are back. I would like to receive all COVID test results both positive and negative for documentation purposes. If a student is absent, we need to follow up daily as for the reason.

Thank you!
