High School Student Council Elections including CLASS OFFICERS are coming soon for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year.

ADOPT A SENIOR

Attention Parents who have elected to participate in the Adopt-a-Senior Basket Program....

The high school office has been sending responses with graduate information so that you can customize your gift basket.  However, we are hearing that some email filters have been marking the emails as JUNK and putting it in the Junk Mail folder.  We encourage you to check your Junk Mail inbox for the response that you may have already received.  If you still do not see a response, you should continue to check back periodically with a scan of your junk mailbox.

Once you find the email that was incorrectly sent to your Junk Mail folder:  you should right click the email and choose an option that indicates it is "NOT JUNK" OR "MOVE TO INBOX".

This should help improve the accuracy as your filters work to put mail in the appropriate folders.

ADOPT A HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR!

Would you like to Adopt-a-Senior this year?

We have a very tight-knit community here in Waynesville. Due to the events of the pandemic we want to shower our class of 2021 with love and comfort.  WHS will be sending out a link for anyone to sign up to adopt a senior.  We ask for approximately $50.00 worth of items.

On the link you will pick a number and add your name and phone number, we will then send you that seniors name and a brief description of that student.  We will have a due date on the baskets of May 1, 2021 to be brought to the High School office.

CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP TO DONATE A BASKET

Please allow us up to two weeks to respond back with your senior number’s information

WMS Pathway Painting Project

Looking for ways to support our kids?

Here are some ways that we could use your help....

All students at WMS will be starting a School Pathway Painting Project within the next few weeks (more details coming soon).  We will be needing some supplies for the student body.

  • If you have any new or gently used paint brushes, we can use all sizes from very fine for writing on stones to 3" wide for priming.
  • If you would prefer to just sent in Lowes Gift Cards for the school to purchase any needed supplies, any denomination would be appreciated.

Thank you!!

After Prom Needs Your Help!

We need your help in volunteering to put on a great Prom for our kids this year.  Due to a lot of restrictions and unknowns due to COVID, After Prom is partnering with the High School to provide prizes and volunteers for the 2021 WHS Prom.  We are excited to help the Prom Committee this year to put on a fantastic event.

There are several areas that we need your help with.  This year, prizes are going to be given out during Prom, but we need help in getting items.  Also, we will need volunteers to help decorate and set up both for the Red Carpet event and at Southbrook Church.

Attached is a link to sign up to volunteer.  More details are available in the link.

ORDER YOUR 2020-21 HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK TODAY!
This school year has been quite unforgettable and we have been working very hard to capture every moment of this historic year in our yearbook. Things may look a little different this year but it has helped us become more creative with lots of fun content for our book. Our theme this year is "Like Never Before" and we have made it our goal to fill every page with all of the great things that are happening at WHS. To place your order you can order online following the link below or pick up an order form in the high school office where you can pay with cash or check to WHS yearbook. Our yearbooks are $55 and will remain so throughout this school year!

SENIOR PARENTS:
We are offering ad space for you to place a senior ad to celebrate your 2021 graduate! We love for these to be as custom as you would like them to be. You can create your own ad or we will create the ad for you in our class.

  1. Pictures - as many as you want! Bring on the baby pictures
  2. Message - a message that you would like for your senior to read once they receive their book

Half Page $25
Quarter Page $20
Business Card Size $10

Ad orders must be placed in the high school office with a cash or check to WHS Yearbook
