Samantha Elizalde was elected Sac State’s ASI president and Joseph Sais was elected executive vice president after ASI held elections for its 2021-2022 Board of Directors Wednesday and Thursday.

As the pandemic and virtual learning continues, Sac State students are feeling drained from countless hours on screen.
Many Sac State students report their mental health has significantly decreased during the online semesters. The State Hornet spoke to a few of those students and got their input about how the pandemic has been affecting them.

"We all go through a long journey when we do this, but it just seemed like the solution that they picked was a little bit silly, a little bit patronizing, and it just wasn’t very inclusive for a good portion of the student body," history major Carrie Sheahan said.
The State Hornet sat down with some graduating students to hear their opinions about the upcoming drive-through ceremony.

For the first time in program history, the Sac State baseball team is featured in Collegiate Baseball Division I rankings. The ranking comes after Sac State defeated Stanford University on March 29. The Hornets are ranked no. 24 among other teams across the nation.
