Anti Bias Education: Activism

Quality Counts San Luis Obispo offers 4 Anti-Bias Education workshops. The focus of this session is activism. If teachers cultivate each child’s ability and confidence to stand up for oneself and for others in the face of bias, children will demonstrate a sense of empowerment and the skills to act, with others or alone, against prejudice and/or discriminatory actions.
Pyjama Drama - Tell Me More

This new training was designed by Sarah Rijnen of Pyjama Drama to support FCC Providers, Toddler Programs, PreK, TK, and Kindergarten teachers. These two 90 minute sessions will demonstrate how to use pretend play and imaginary characters, like Ezra the Dancing Dragon, to enhance children’s social, emotional, and physical well-being with a focus on empathy and inclusion.
THIS IS A TWO NIGHT TRAINING. Registering for this training will register you for both nights of this session.

Join Britney Ogden and Allison Biggers for an introduction to the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) training. In this session you will learn how to use the DRDP, practice documentation, and practice rating DRDP measures.
