- DETOUR: Take Exit 22B (Fort Bliss/Pershing Drive), then take the Pershing Drive/Altura Avenue exit, continue on Gateway South, and re-enter southbound US 54 at Pershing.
- The offramp from westbound Spur 601 to southbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic.
- DETOUR: Take northbound US 54, take Exit 24 (Ellerthorpe Avenue), u-turn at Ellerthorpe to enter southbound US 54.
Crews will be working on LMS signs.

Tuesday, April 13, from 9pm to 5am
- Northbound US 54 will be reduced to a single lane between Pershing Drive and Cassidy Road.
- The on-ramp from Gateway Boulevard North to northbound US 54 at Pershing Drive will be closed to all traffic.
Crews will be drilling a support shaft for a new dynamic message sign (DMS).

Tuesday, April 13, from 9pm to 5am
- The mainlanes of southbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic between Pershing Drive and I-10.
- DETOURS: All traffic will be detoured into the collector/distributor (C/D) lanes. Traffic bound for eastbound I-10 will take Exit 21B (I-10 West/Las Cruces/Downtown), continue to Exit 20 (Cotton Street), turn left on Cotton and left on eastbound I-10. Traffic bound for Loop 375 will take Exit 21C (Montana Avenue), continue on Gateway Boulevard South, and re-enter southbound US 54 at Yandell Drive.
- NOTE: During this closure, all traffic must access the Bridge of the Americas by taking westbound I-10 to Exit 22B (US 54/Juárez/Alamogordo/Fort Bliss), then veer left taking the “Juárez, México” exit to southbound Interstate 110.
- NOTE: This closure may be repeated on Wednesday, April 14.
Crews will be working on LMS signs.

Wednesday, April 14, from 9pm to 5am
- Westbound I-10 will be reduced to a single lane between US 54 and Copia Street.
Crews will be drilling a support shaft for a new dynamic message sign (DMS).

Thursday, April 15, from 9pm to 5am
- The C/D lanes on southbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic between Pershing Drive and Montana Avenue.
- Onramps from Gateway Boulevard South to southbound US 54 north and south of Pershing will be closed to all traffic; onramps at Trowbridge and Yandell will be open.
- DETOUR: Traffic bound for westbound I-10 will take Exit 21A (I-10 East/San Antonio), continue on eastbound to I-10 to Exit 24A (Trowbridge Drive), use the newly widened turnaround and enter westbound I-10.
Crews will be removing an existing overhead sign.

Thursday, April 15, from 9pm to 5am
- Northbound US 54 will be reduced to a single lane between Pershing Drive and Cassidy Road.
- The offramp from northbound US 54 to Cassidy Road will be closed to all traffic.
- DETOUR: Take Exit 24A (Fred Wilson Avenue) and use the turnaround to enter southbound US 54. Continue to Exit 22 (Fort Bliss/Pershing Drive), then take the Fort Bliss/Cassidy Road exit.
Crews will be working on a new LMS sign and a support shaft for a new TransVista camera.

Nightly I-110 Closures Coming Later This Spring
In the coming weeks, crews will begin installing nearly forty overhead bridge girders as they reconstruct the overpass which will carry US 62 (Paisano Drive) over Interstate 110 immediately north of the Bridge of the Americas. To safely conduct this work, southbound I-110 leading to the bridge will close nightly for several weeks later this spring. An exact date for this work has not yet been finalized. Updated information will be provided as soon as it is available.

On-Going Closures Will Continue Without Interruption
- Ramp H which connects eastbound I-10 to US 54 and Juárez remains closed until further notice.
- Interstate 110, the short freeway spur leading to and from the Bridge of the Americas, remains closed to northbound traffic until further notice.
- US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed to traffic in both directions between San Marcial Street and Gateway Boulevard South.
- Gateway Boulevard East remains closed to thru traffic between Loop 478 (Copia Street) and Marr Street.
- The ramp from southbound US 54 to US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed until further notice.
- Both turnarounds under US 54 at US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed until further notice.
- Intermittent closures on Durazno Avenue, Rosa Avenue and Uva Street.
- Intermittent lane closures on Gateway Boulevard East between Piedras Street and US 62/180 (Paisano Drive).
- Intermittent lane closures on Gateway Boulevard West between Boone Street and Palm Street.
Onramp and offramp closures may begin up to one hour earlier than stated times. All information is subject to change based upon weather and field conditions.

About the I-10 Connect Project
The I-10 Connect project is at the intersection of Interstate 10 and US 54 in El Paso County. The project extends from I-10 to Loop 375 (Cesar Chávez Border Highway) and provides access to the Bridge of the Americas (BOTA) via I-110. The $96 million project includes the construction of four new direct connectors, a full reconstruction of the I-110/US 62 (Paisano Drive) interchange, and removes exit ramps from US 62 to I-110.
I-10 Connect will improve connectivity between I-10 and Loop 375, also providing an alternate route to I-10. It started February 19, 2019, and is expected to be complete in less than three years.

EL PASO, Texas — EL Proyecto I-10 Connect utiliza herramientas más allá de concreto y acero para mejorar el flujo del tránsito en el centro de El Paso. Se agregan componentes de un sistema inteligente de administración de tránsito (ITS por sus siglas en inglés) como los señalamientos electrónicos de manejo de carriles (LMS), señalamientos dinámicos (DMSs) y nuevas cámaras del sistema TransVista.
El trabajo en estos componentes requiere el cierre completo de US 54 la semana que viene, al igual que el de algunos carriles de I-10. Se les recomienda a los automovilistas que viajan por el área no circular por la zona durante los cierres si les es posible.

- Cierran los carriles principales de US 54 Sur entre Pershing Drive y I-10.
- DESVIACIONES: Todo tránsito se desvía a los carriles laterales. (C/D lanes). El tránsito con destino en I-10 Este toma la Salida 21B (I-10 West/Las Cruces/Downtown), continua hacia la Salida 20 (Cotton Street), dobla a la izquierda en Calle Cotton y a la izquierda en I-10 Este. El tránsito con destino en Circuito 375 toma la Salida 21C (Avenida Montana), continua en Gateway Boulevard Sur, y se vuelve a integrar al US 54 sur sobre Yandell Drive.
- AVISO: Durante este cierre, todo tránsito debe llegar al el Puente Internacional de las Américas por I-10 Oeste y Salida 22B (US 54/Juárez/Alamogordo/Fort Bliss), continuando hacia la izquierda por la Salida “Juárez, México” hacia I-110 Sur.

Próximamente: Cierres Nocturnos de I-110
En las semanas que vienen, cuadrillas de construcción iniciarán la obra de instalar casi cuarenta rieles superiores de puentes mientras se reconstruya el paso elevado que lleva a US 62 (Paisano Drive) por encima de I-110 al norte del Puente Internacional de las Américas. Para llevar esto a cabo de la manera más segura, cerrarán I-110 Sur hacia el puente internacional cada noche por varias noches esta primavera. No se ha determinado la fecha exacta para esta obra. Se le indicará al público conforme sea disponible la información.

LOS SIGUIENTES IMPACTOS AL TRÁFICO SIGUEN SIN INTERRUPCIÓN
- La Rampa H que conecta I-10 Este a US 54 y Cd. Juárez permanece cerrada hasta nuevo aviso
- I-110, la corta autopista que conduce hacia el Puente Internacional de las Américas, permanece cerrada para tránsito hacia el norte hasta nuevo aviso.
- US 62 (Paisano Drive) permanece cerrado en ambas direcciones entre Calle San Marcial y Gateway Boulevard Sur.
- Gateway Boulevard Este permanece cerrado entre Circuito 478 (Calle Copia) y Calle Marr.
- La rampa de US 54 Sur hacia US 62 (Paisano Drive) permanece cerrada hasta nuevo aviso.
- Los dos retornos en US-62 (Paisano Drive) por debajo del US 54 permanecen cerrados hasta nuevo aviso
- Cierres intermitentes de Avenidas Durazno y Rosa, y Calle Uva.
- Cierres intermitentes en Gateway Boulevard Este entre Calle Piedras y US 62/180 (Paisano Drive).
- Cierres intermitentes en Gateway Boulevard Oeste entre Calles Boone y Palm.

Sobre I-10 Connect
El Proyecto "I-10 Connect" se encuentra en la intersección de la autopista interestatal I-10 y la carretera US 54 en el Condado de El Paso.
