MEET CHEF ELLY

"The Co-Op is a safe and welcoming space that the community can rely on for food and services."
Chef Elly describes herself as a global citizen, someone who identifies with being part of an emerging world community and whose actions contribute to building this community’s values and practices. Travel has always been Chef Elly's main mode of existence, but the global pandemic landed her in Denver just a year ago. Being landlocked and rooted for the first time hasn't stopped Chef Elly's momentum ; she's traveled to all 7 continents.

She has been active at The Co-Op as the Kitchen Manager and Executive Chef and has made the breakfast and lunches that are well received by the community. Creating meals that are delicious and remind people of home or their childhood is the root of motivation for her. She also receives joy from hearing how delicious her food is from the community!
