Scholarship Applications for Disability Resource Center
To be eligible for awards and scholarships through the Disability Resource Center (DRC), you must be a UGA student, registered with the DRC, and have completed at least one semester of classes at UGA.

Need Help Navigating the VA? Check Out V-VEACs!
 Virtual Veteran Experience Action Centers (V-VEACs) "bring together VA benefits, healthcare and other resources in partnership with state VA resources, Rally Point and other Veteran Service Organizations, and local Community Veterans Engagement Boards," to provide a one-stop resource for veteran needs. If you have any questions related to veteran benefits, including VA disability claims, you should take the time to explore V-VEACs.

Changes to Veteran Readiness & Education (VR&E) Benefits (Chapter 31)
You should have received an email from the VA regarding changes to Chapter 31 VR&E benefits. As of April 1, 2021, the VA will no longer count the use of VR&E benefits against other VA education benefits (i.e., the Post-9/11 GI Bill). However, using other education benefits, such as the Post-9/11 GI Bill, does count against your use of VR&E benefits. For some of our veterans, this could be a way to significantly extend education benefits.
