Those of you who have put your dog through avoidance training out here will know Lesley Baigent, vet, kiwi dog handler and Kiwi Coast advocate (pictured on the right above), she's awesome :)
She's doing a talk at the Kerikeri Cruising Club upper clubhouse this coming Saturday 17th April at 9:00am.
The talk is primarily about dogs and us dog owners:
- How dogs think, learn and behave
- What we can expect from dogs and vice-versa
- Simple training tips to have a happy dog who is a good citizen
But also some kiwi and dogs content:
- How dogs react to kiwi
- What to do if your dog shows interest in a kiwi and how us owners can prevent it happening.
- Avoidance training
We'll even give you a cuppa and a chocy bikkie :)

PS: If you can let us know if you'll be attending that'd be great, but feel free to rock up on the day unannounced. We just don't want to under order on the biscuits ;)
