As we reflect on the 2020-2021 academic year, many adjectives come to mind: strange, challenging and unpredictable, to name a few. In the Department of English, the past year also evokes thoughts of perseverance, adaptability and commitment. We wish we could come together in person to celebrate the completion of the year and the many achievements of our community, and we look forward to a celebration next year. In the meantime, the Department of English would like to take this opportunity to recognize the recipients of the 2021 department awards, as well as all those who received awards and fellowships throughout the academic year.
