Worship Service – Sunday, May 2, 2021

In person worship will be held in the sanctuary with the appropriate COVID protocols on Sunday, May 2 at 11:00 am. You may also access the service from the safety of your own home through our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/wilmotunitedchurch or later through the Wilmot Website http://www.wilmotuc.nb.ca.

Volunteers Needed for Sunday Worship

Now that we are able to worship in person, volunteers are needed for ushering, greeting, or reading scripture in the months of May and June. It is easy to volunteer using the online system 'Sign Up Genius'. Just click on the link below to sign up for times you are available. Spirit Conversations Online Gathering

INCLUSION is the topic for our April session.

How can we open our hearts to help make Wilmot and our community places of welcome and belonging for everyone? How does work/action around inclusiveness connect with whatever you consider to be your spirituality? What is spirituality anyway? There are many ideas.

Spirit conversations are open group sessions - and there are ‘no wrong answers’. We’d love for you to join us!

No Printed copies left, but we will be re-ordering. If you want a printed copy at a cost of $7, place your order with Judy Coates judycoates@rogers.com or 454-5631. Deadline to order: Friday, April 30/21

We anticipate producing a new Directory with changes & additional people in approximately a year’s time.

Office hours Week May 3 - May 7:

Monday & Friday - Office closed for training time for Kathy Aubin, our new Office Administrator, Access to building must be arranged in advance through the office. Phone & email messages will be checked at end of day. Clergy can be contacted for emergencies: Ellen - 206-1943; Peter 444-1912

Tuesday – Thursday - Office Open: 9:00 am-12:00 noon, 1:00-5:00 pm

Wilmot United Church Women heartily thank our friends in the Wilmot Community for their very generous donations for our Annual Fundraiser – Foodless Food Sale in February. Our amazing total came to over $4000 this year – our greatest ever!! We do appreciate your wonderful financial support to us for our work at all levels of ministry at Wilmot.

Also, a Big Thank You for all your donations to our recent Spring Rummage Sale and for all the help in making this event so successful – our streamline sale made it smooth and enjoyable for all our clients and workers. With this sale we provide a great service to almost 400 people who came shopping this year and we were able to raise over $3400! So many people put in hours of sorting, selling and cleaning up, plus delivery of leftover items. Thank you all!
