Festival offers great value!
Participants have access to enlightening webinars and more
We have received several enquiries regarding the cost of the festival.
We thought the following information would be of interest to you in your decision making.
Despite the fact that we will be virtual this year, many of the costs remain the same. The expenses for our website and advertising are the same whether we are virtual or live. There were also new costs – Six Zoom licences and a webinar add up. Not cheap, but very worthwhile.
We did not need to book the hotel conference centre this year, however, we have had to rent space for three days at the Prestige to be able to have a technical hub with a dedicated WiFI channel. Some of our team live in areas where their home WiFi is very ‘iffy’ and we dare not risk using those connections.
We, of course, still pay our wonderful presenters for their work. They do not get travel or accommodation this year and, like you, don’t get lunch or a banquet either! A very low-cal festival!
Look at the amazing content participants get for $195:
A selection of 12 presenters providing 29 workshops/ webinars.
You can go to all three public events Café Lit/Shock Theatre/ Awards and 10 other sessions.
A total of 13 experiences at $ 15 each.
I hope you agree this is a pretty good bang for your buck.
Keep on asking questions. We are always pleased to get them and try to answer quickly.
