Investments for Gender in Health Care
Wednesday, May 5 at 2 pm ET

Join WMM in our final #GetEqual conversation of spring 2021 for a discussion with Sarah Henry, Executive Director of the Global Center for Gender Equality at Stanford University, and Dr. Vanessa Kerry, CEO of Seed Global Health (Seed)about the urgent health priorities facing women globally. Dr. Kerry will share personal learnings and challenges from the frontlines of her work in Sub-Saharan Africa and how essential it is to protect and invest in doctors, nurses, and midwives working within fragile systems, which were already in crisis before the pandemic. Dr. Kerry and her teams work to educate a rising generation of health care professionals who have local knowledge and personal ties to the regions they serve. By teaching through this local model, Seed seeks to transform clinical education in resource-limited settings and create a sustainable model that strengthens local health care systems for years to come.

*Don't miss Dr. Kerry's recent op-ed for CNN - Covid triggered another crisis: rebuilding our fragile health system.
