You may have been hearing  a lot about crypto currencies like bitcoin recently, but the same blockchain encryption technology that protects crypto can also be used to document the provenance of a data file – automatically and forever.

The Caribbean Community Climate Change Center with funding from the USAID recently upgraded to the RIEGL VQ-880-G airborne lidar sensor system. This will allow better support for their topo-bathy surveys.
