Kids Inquirer's Class

Beginning May 2nd, come join us on Sunday mornings, between early and late service, where your kids (recommended: 2nd-5th grade) learn in a fun class setting about the essentials of the Christian faith. This is a class for kids that desire to profess their faith publicly and become members of the church. This is also a class for kids who have serious questions about faith and the church with no expectation to join immediately.

Baby Bottle Campaign

The month of May is a perfect time to focus on supporting the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond since it is the time of year when we think especially of our own mothers on Mother's Day!  We hope you'll help Sycamore support the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond as they work to provide resources and care free of charge to women and men unprepared for a pregnancy.

It's easy to participate!

  • Pick up a baby bottle from the foyer and fill it with your loose change
  • Write a check to the Pregnancy Resource Center and designate it for the SPC Baby Bottle Campaign (checks can be put in your bottle or placed in the black offering box in the church office).
  • Donate through this FundEasy site

Make sure all your donations are made and baby bottles returned to the church office by May 31st!  Our target is $1,000 for the PRC!

Let's Bless Elijah House Academy

The teachers & staff of EHA have offered in-person classes for the entire 20-21 Academic Year for all their students, Pre-k through Grade 8! As this challenging year comes to an end and the teachers/staff prepare for their summer vacations, let us bless each one of them with “ A Blessings Gift Bag” and a note of thanks.

Colorful envelopes with teacher/staff information tucked inside will be on a tree inside our church foyer from April 14th - April 30th.  You are invited to select a teacher or staff member and create a personalized “Blessings Gift Bag” spending no more than $25.

Please return your “Blessings Gift Bag(s)” to the church office no later than Sunday May 2nd. Remember to attach your teacher/staff envelope along with your note of encouragement and thanks.

If shopping is not your thing, you may still take part by selecting an envelope, insert cash or a check (payable to Sycamore Presbyterian Church Memo EHA) and drop it into the black box in the church office. We will be happy to shop for you!!
