Join the fourth Spring #EuroTestWeek on 14-21 May 2021!

The next Spring European Testing Week is coming up on 14-19 May.
Even though the past year has been full of challenges in providing testing services, we encourage all of you to participate to continue raising awareness of the importance of testing.

What is Spring ETW

The first Spring ETW was piloted in May 2018 in partnership with the INTEGRATE Joint Action and the European Liver Patients’ Association. Since then, the Spring ETW has proved to be a successful campaign. Now, ETW occurs biannually, in the Spring (May) and Autumn (November).

The aim of the Spring and Autumn ETWs remains the same: to unite partner organisations throughout Europe for one week to increase access to testing and promote awareness on the benefits of earlier hepatitis and HIV testing.

How can you participate?

Even if you are unable to offer testing services or testing is not part of your services, you can still support the campaign in many different ways.  If you need ideas and inspiration for activities you can carry out during ETW, please go to the ETW website and download the Implementation Handbook (Toolkit 2).

Please encourage others to participate by asking them to sign up to European Testing Week, so we can create as much awareness as possible on the importance of early testing.

Remember to share your Spring ETW activities on social media and use the hashtag #EuroTestWeek

We look forward to displaying all your activities and showing a united effort during Spring #EuroTestWeek 2021 to support HIV, viral hepatitis and STI services in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Make sure to use the hashtag #EuroTestWeek for social media.

Share your story

Want to share your story? We are looking for stories on testing during these challenging times, both in terms of obstacles to testing efforts and success stories with good examples of testing, including integrated testing and testing during the pandemic.

We are very interested in receiving small testimonials from you, either in the form of a small video clip, a brief text, or we can interview you. If you want to share your testing efforts with us, please contact us at eurotest.rigshospitalet@regionh.dk as soon as possible, so we can highlight your work.
