DPI will hold advising sessions for Fall 2021 registration remotely from May 10- May 21. Please see the important information below.
Mandatory: Students must meet with their faculty advisor and complete the DPI Registration Form byMay 21 to be cleared for spring registration.
Advising Meetings: Students should discuss their fall plans with their faculty advisors before registering for classes. Faculty may conduct conversations via email, phone, Zoom, or any other video/voice conferencing service. Students should use that time to ask questions about their degree progress, requirements, course allocations, study away, etc.
Faculty will reach out to their advisees regarding their availability to meet virtually.
May 3:Fall 2021 courses are available to view on Albert. May 10-21: Remote Faculty Advising takes place. May 21: Deadline to submit the DPI Registration Form. May 24:Fall 2021 registration opens.
Preparing to Register:
1. Check your enrollment appointment day and time.
2. Look for and address any holds that may prevent you from registering.
3. Review your degree progress and choose which courses you would like to and/or are required to take in the upcoming term. (See the DPI COURSES FALL 2021 for the department-specific course schedule and descriptions.)
3. You will not always get your first choice when selecting courses. Please be prepared with alternatives and include the alternatives on your DPI Registration Form.
4. If you plan to take a course toward a 2nd major or minor, please check with the department which hosts the program to verify the requirements.
