Dress Code

With spring being right around the corner and the weather warming up, please remember that midriff shirts are not allowed.  Students are reminded that their stomach should not be showing.  Other dress code reminders include shorts and skirts being thumb length when your arms are straight down and, finally, no sagging pants resulting in underwear showing.

TRMS Virtual Talent Show

This year TRMS is hosting a “Virtual Talent Show.”  Students are invited to submit a one minute (or less) video of their talent.  For longer performances think about what “clip” you want to show in your editing process.

Student videos will be screened by Trail Ridge Middle School Staff for excellence, creativity, originality and appropriateness.  Please make sure we can hear your voice and see you clearly.  Videos will be shared with TRMS students and staff the last week of school.

Lyrics, costumes, and performances need to be compliant with school policy and appropriate for all audiences. Music and performances will be screened for appropriateness. Lip syncing, sing along, or video game acts (Guitar Hero, Just Dance, etc...) will not be allowed. Dance routines should be rehearsed (no freestyle dancing).

Most of all be creative and show off your true talent! Unique acts are always appreciated!!

  • Permission slips are available in the front office and are due no later than MAY 3rd. Please return signed permission slips to Mrs. Beard.

  • All video submissions are due no later than MAY 5th. Videos will not be reviewed without a permission slip!

  • Be sure to add a title and credits to your video for your audience to see.

  • Video submissions are to be 1 minute or less.  Save your videos to your Google drive and share it with Mrs. Beard:   beard_tonia@svvsd.org

7 Mindsets

The Time Is Now Mindset teaches us the importance of harnessing the power of the moment and taking purposeful action. The simple fact is that all of our power to act and make an impact exists in this moment. We cannot change the past, and the future hasn’t happened, so we must recognize that our only path to happiness, fulfillment and meaning is to take purposeful action in the present toward creating the lives of our dreams.
