Website Outage
We would like to apologise for the recent outage of the DAMA UK website. This issue has now been resolved. If you experience any website problems, please contact us.
CDMP Boot Camps
We are delighted to inform you that a third date for a CDMP Boot Camp has been confirmed, a Members Only benefit, and already places are filling fast. 2021 course dates are 7-9 July and 18-20 October, both virtual training.
The Mentoring Scheme
The Mentoring Scheme is under a major review with the aim to make the process as simple as possible and with a quicker turnaround matching mentors and mentees.
Joint DAMA UK/BCS Event
Making Data Good for Society is the theme for this years joint event with the BCS, a full week of webinars, 14-18 June (2 per day) to look forward to. More details can be found here and a booking link will be available shortly.
Renewals and the Direct Debit Scheme
We have recently contacted all those who pay their renewal fees by Direct Debit via GoCardless. The aim is to move as many transactions to the website and STRIPE as possible. This will help reduce the duplicate payments that often occur. Whilst we like to receive renewal fees, just once is enough!
DAMA UK Committee Elections
We will shortly be holding our biannual committee elections and will be approaching the membership for nominations during May. Being on the Committee is a great opportunity to help shape the future of DAMA UK as well as offer a valuable experience of working with a likeminded group of people and as a volunteer. Members, please keep your eyes peeled for your request for nominations.
Very briefly ... 23 June 5.30-6.30 we are running a second Members Only Presentation Practice Webinar. This will give members a chance to practise their presentation skills in a safe environment with fellow DAMA UK members. Each session will be limited to 5 members only. The session will be recorded and shared with the attendees only after the session. Please email info@damauk.org with your interest as places are strictly limted.
