I hope you're having a great week! We're back with another Digital Edition of Sunday School! I'm excited that we're going to have an in-person Sunday School next Sunday, May 2nd, at 5:00 pm, and I hope we'll have as many of our families there as possible. We'll provide pizza, sodas, and some cookies, you just have to show up. We ask that all families please maintain a social distance from each other and wear their masks anytime they're not eating.
Our rehearsal for the Pentecost Pageant is tomorrow (Saturday, April 24th) at 10 am. The link is available here and we hope to have as many students involved as possible. We have solo parts and also parts that are said as part of a group, so even if you're too shy to read by yourself, you can still come and be a part of the crowd! We'd love to have you come along! We'll record the Pageant next Saturday, May 5th, also at 10 am. I don't expect either meeting to last longer than 30-45 minutes, so please plan on joining us!
What does love mean to you? What kind of things do you do for someone that you love?
What does it mean to sacrifice?
What's something that you could give up that would help another person?
In the reading from the Gospel of John and in Psalm 23, God/Jesus are compared to a shepherd and followers of God are compared to sheep. What you you think that means?
What are some other metaphors or analogies that you can thing of that describe your relationship with God?
That's it for this week! Thanks again for joining us and I look forward to seeing you next week!
