The state of Kansas has joined 13 other oil and gas states whose well data is now featured in the RBDMS WellFinder app. The data, which is directly provided by the state of Kansas, will be updated monthly.
There are over 175,000 oil and gas wells in Kansas. The app includes salt water disposal and enhanced oil recovery wells.
RBDMS WellFinder is a free mobile application available on iOS & Android.

It allows users to explore oil and gas wells in multiple participating states across the nation. The App allows users to filter by well types, search wells by API and sort the wells by state and county. Once selected, users can access well level details, access available online state well data, and (if available for the selected well) access FracFocus data.

National Groundwater Monitoring Network Offers Funding Webinar

The U.S. Geological Survey is issuing a second round of funding for the NGWMN Cooperative Agreements in FY 2021. The U.S. Geological Survey will award up to $700,000 in cooperative agreements to support participation in the National Ground-Water Monitoring Network (NGWMN) in this round of funding.
The Program Announcement for Round 2 funding consists of the same Objective and requirements as those for the first round of 2021 funding.
