CFACT's Marc Morano appeared on Fox and Friends this morning and called out President Biden's virtual climate summit for what it really is, an unearned gift to China.

China could not be happier with what’s happening right now, China’s building about on average one coal plant a week. There was a report out that China’s building more coal plants than all other countries combined.
It's all going to mean literally all pain for zero gain to the climate. There's no criteria by which they say, okay, we've now done this, we're going to expect less bad hurricanes, less tornadoes, that's not even on the table. In fact, in 2015, John Kerry and many of the same people in the Biden administration declared victory after the UN Paris climate pact was signed and they said this was an unparalleled moment that we've solved the climate crisis. This never ends. This is the starting point for literally a remaking of American society for absolutely no benefit and what I mean by that is it's going to be more reliance on Chinese energy, Chinese mining we're going to offshore emissions. And all we're going to do is impoverish Americans and that's what, that's really what the climate agenda is about it's not going to change the climate at the end of this, that we're not going to have a better climate, there's no, there are no criteria to measure that there's just going to be more climate measures and mandates coming down the line more.

China emits close to one third of all human CO2 emissions. That's more than the U.S. and E.U. combined. Chinese emissions are headed only one direction: up, up, up.
Throttling down free world economies and throttling up China's will have no meaningful impact on global temperature, but will do much to expand Chinese power and influence.
Under the Paris Climate Accord China pledges to go on growing and then reach "peak emissions" by 2030, by which time they plan for their economy to dwarf all others.
Does anyone truly expect the Chinese Communist Party to honor future climate pledges?
Those of us who used to watch politically incorrect cartoons, will remember the character Wimpy. Wimpy always promised, "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today." Do you think any burger stand ever collected?

Leaders from many countries such as the UK, Japan, Canada, and even the Vatican weighed-in. Yoshihide Suga of Japan was very specific saying his country would reduce emissions by 46% below 2013 levels. One must laugh at such precise numbers which we know to be worthless. China’s Xi Jinping and India’s Narendra Modi said after their free emissions pass ends in 2030 they will finally pitch in. In the meantime China loves producing the bulk of the wind and solar equipment Biden plans to spend ginormous amounts of money on...
Enough. President Biden's Earth Day virtual summit featured policies which would erode national sovereignty, expand UN power, and throttle down free-world capitalist economies to the benefit of autocratic China without meaningfully alter the temperature of the Earth. The policies put forward would dramatically weaken developed nations by pricing their energy out of sight. Inefficient, intermittent wind and solar are not viable alternatives to inexpensive and readily-available natural gas, oil and coal. So-called renewables have oppressively massive environmental footprints which bring nightmares of their own. If only the Greens could get past their unscientific ideological opposition to nuclear power.
Radical leftists will not mind the free world being brought to it knees. The rest of us, not so much. This ill-conceived transformation of our energy supply cannot work. The Left understands this. They court energy failure, planning to demand government further step in and ration all energy. For the Left the answer to every problem is more leftism. How better to realize their dreams of control?
