HVAC/Construction/Energy Inspector (HERS Rater)- Several positions and locations

PEG is searching for motivated individuals who are interested in learning about Energy Sustainability and Building Energy Performance of New Residential Construction. In this position, new employees will be provided paid on the job training that will prepare them to perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET Guidelines. This will include visual inspections of materials, data collection and visual observation of energy efficient features, and the utilization of equipment to test system performance.

The geographical area assigned to this position includes a 100-mile radius with Dover, DE at its center.

Energy Analyst
PEG specializes in building energy performance, green building program compliance, building diagnostics, environmental and code compliance, thermal performance, HVAC design and operation, and construction defect. They are looking for an Energy Analyst in Fairfax, Virginia with the option to go remote after training period.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Serve as Energy Analyst for Local, Regional, and National Energy Programs for Rebate Builders
Experience with energy efficiency building codes, building science, and energy modeling software (such as REMrate) is not required but is a PLUS

Field Engineer In Training

BAS Technician II

Responsible for programming, commissioning, diagnosing, servicing and repairing Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Control systems, utilizing knowledge of electronics, direct digital controls, HVAC airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, and most current control techniques. Responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining multiple BAS projects within time, scope, and budget and to our customers’ satisfaction. Under general supervision completes assigned work to be a productive member of the operations team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and profitable growth for the company.

Salary range: $35 to $45 per hour plus an excellent benefits package.
