Here’s what happened in the DR: International Women’s Day was celebrated with a march through Barrio 41, with signs reading:

“Today we celebrate you because you are precious",
"Woman, you are unique, you wonderful",
"I love being a woman", and
"Happy International Women's Day".

The march ended at a central park in Consuelo, where people joined together for a time of motivational speeches, singing, dancing, and a display of artwork created by other women’s groups.

Post-Secondary Scholarship Program

One of the most exciting ventures that one can be a part of is to invest directly in the life of a student. Read the stories of these four young adults in Haiti who are benefiting from scholarships created through designated donations from Rayjon supporters:

Jamesly, who is studying Public Health;
Daniel, who has found new joy in life through an apprenticeship program;
Peterson, who is now able to continue his apprenticeship; and
Anise, who is embarking on her 4^th year of medical school.

Rayjon/DeGroot's Plant Sale is Back!
