2 days of goodbyes, 10 hours of loading and what seemed like 74 cups of coffee and we were finally ready to drive North
Dear Friends,

Moving is stressful. (No big surprise there!)

Yet the greatest emotion we've felt this past week is peace.

Peace despite exhaustion. Peace amidst being uncomfortable (and even terrified) to be in a new town that is drastically different than anywhere we've ever lived. Peace despite the sea of boxes, the new schedules, the lack of friends/community... Peace

This peace can only come from Him, it's a peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:4-7:

Rejoice in the LORD always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The LORD is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We are prayerfully and thankfully full of peace because we know that we are stepping into the Lords leading and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. To be at Fort in time to serve at summer camps when most lives are impacted makes us all the more encouraged.

The moving week was filled with God-winks (that's what we call incredible moments that are undeniably from God!). Enjoy the photo update of God-winks...

Meadowbrook Church prays with and for us - less than 24 hours before, Fort's Board of Directors approved 2 large projects, one that Billy will lead, one that Laura will lead - another confirmation of the work we are called to
Pastor Bryan's message just-so-happen to fit perfectly with our step of faith so he asked us come back up at the end of service to share a bit more - click the image to listen
Grandma and Papa - aka childcare specialists, memory makers, plumber, electrician, painter, chef, comforter, cheerleaders, superheroes
How many Fort staff does it take to unload a 26 foot Uhaul, assemble 4 beds, take a trip to the dump, and enjoy lunch all in under 3 hours? (Answer: count the people in the photo)
I spy the local library, a Hodag, and three happy kiddos
Driving to work together - 25 minutes of coffee, conversation, and God's creation - we spotted a wolf, 2 turkeys, a coyote, an eagle, and many deer
So many forests to explore, so little time
Doughnuts, universal for "welcome to the team"
Prayer...
Thanks for a successful move and the blessing of help we received from neighbors and friends doing the heavy lifting!

Summer camps are filling! Would you pray for the campers, particularly the youth campers, that their hearts would be prepared to experience Christ at camp and that many would leave with a new understanding and fire for the Lord.

Would you pray for our family to develop new and meaningful friendships in Rhinelander and for opportunities to serve in the community.

Would you join us in giving Praise to God for His provision over our family, the move, and Fort Wilderness Ministry.
