As I was wading through hundreds of photos on Dropbox (we have since switched to google photos but all our previous photos are thrown in there), I realized, "This is perfect work for an intern."
Not only that, but an intern could help TAKE photos and videos as well.
I put together an ad (email me for a copy) for a photography/videography summer intern and put it on Indeed and different local college sites. A requirement was access to a car all summer to get to our various job sites. All the responses came from our free indeed ad. After going through quite a few resumes and zoom interviewing three students, I hired a great student from Syracuse who loves organizing things, taking photos and making videos.
I realize I am not getting a seasoned pro, but that's not what I am expecting for $10 an hour. Her tasks are to take before and after photos and some beauty shots, create one complete video and record a bunch of b-roll (background shots we can use for multiple things).
She starts June 1. I'll let you know how it goes...
