We have been informed that our Emergency Rooms are overwhelmed with patients who have been redirected from the community because their providers are not able to see them in person. As the next wave of COVID continues to put stress on our health care system, there has been a plea for community providers to consider other options.
For urgent imaging and labs, please consider MedRay Imaging, WestCoast Medical Imaging (as they now have extended hours) and LifeLabs (now available 7days a week).
If you are unable to see your patients in person, the Tri-Cities Urgent and Primary Care Centre is open daily from 1pm - 8pm. It is located at Eagle Ridge Hospital, accessible through an external door located at the North-East corner of the site. There is signage at the entrance of the U&PCC.
