Hello, everyone!
Lorna, Julie, and I went to Artscape* at the Dallas Arboretum last Sunday. It was wonderful to be out with girl friends—enjoying the gardens (favorite flower, shown above) and shopping the booths. It is a rare treat to buy something wonderful from the person who made it.
I bought a kinetic outdoor sculpture from Darren Miller. He is a gifted artist and really nice man with an interesting back story.
*This was an outside, mask-wearing, crowd-controlled event—not exactly like past Artscapes, but the less-crowded part was really nice!

Last week I revealed Birds In Toyland (brand spanking new!) and announced the first class based on the quilt. It filled up so fast that I'll be announcing another one soon. For those waiting on aqua, Lorna did have a list of your email addresses on her computer, but when her husband (my son) worked out some kinks on her laptop, the list was lost. She deeply apologizes, and says she will have a better system in the future :-).

 Wednesday Giveaway
This week I'm giving away a Sewline Glue Pen. I use this glue pen to baste the seam allowances to the paper in English paper piecing. It's fast and easy. Use a light hand with the glue; it doesn't take much.
