Reflections on Alaska’s Fundamental Fiscal Choices - Gunnar Knapp
Tuesday, May 4, 2021
12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM Alaska

ZOOM REGISTRATION
Hosted by Harvard-Yale-Princeton Clubs of Alaska

Alaska—like all states—has always faced three fundamental and inter-related fiscal choices: how much to collect in taxes and resource revenues from residents and businesses; how much to spend for state services, capital investments and payments to citizens; and how much of current revenues to save for the future. The fiscal choices we have been making and that we make this year will have important implications for the kind of economy and society Alaskans (including ourselves and our children) will have in the future. In this talk, Dr. Knapp will reflect on the implications of these fundamental fiscal choices.
