Our purpose simply put; loving God, serving others, doing no harm.

Dear Friends:
We will gather for worship and to celebrate
Holy Communion Sunday, May 2, at 10 AM. We will also livestream our Worship on Facebook and will be posted to our website too. Please join us as we lift up our voices in praise and singing Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty; our communion song, Change my Heart, Oh God and our closing song, We Gather Together. I will continue my Spring Sermon Series on Thy Kingdom Come! My message will be from Mark 4, the parable of the Four Soils. I will ask the question once again, what do Kingdom Believers look like? What are the qualities of Jesus followers? Please join us after the worship service for our Prayer Connect Time, which is also available over Zoom for those who cannot join us at church. (Zoom details below)

Saturday, May 1st is the last day to take the Congregational Survey. The Church leadership will be using the information from the survey as we gather on Saturday, June 5 for a time of Strategic Planning. We are seeking God’s direction to lead us into a new season of blessing when the Covid-19 pandemic is over. Please pray for wisdom for our church leadership and pray for God’s continued blessing upon Mt Bethel Church.

Lastly, take note of the information posted below concerning
“Internet Phishing Schemes”. There are attempts by unscrupulous people to get money by pretending that they are someone they are not. They change a few letters in an email… and then attempt to trick people into thinking they are from someone they know. For instance, my email address is pastordave@mtbethelchruchigh.org . In a phishing scheme the internet thieves would change-manipulate my email address to something similar but different i.e.: pastordavid@mtbethelchruhcigh.com …and attempt to fool you! In other words, if you ever get an email from me or from anyone from the MN UMC Conference asking for money…it is a Ruse! Please ignore!

Spring Blessings! Pastor David

If or when you are in need of Pastoral Care,

Last Week to offer your feedback: Mt Bethel Church has been in an Intentional Season of Reflection and Prayer during the 2021 Lenten Season. Our desire is, receiving clear guidance from our Heavenly Father as
to how our church can move forward into a season of blessings once the Covid-19 Pandemic is over. Our Church leadership has put together a short survey to get your feedback and input. We want to hear from you as to what you believe Mt Bethel Church should do to move into a New Season of Blessings and Grow. Click here and complete the survey (one per congregant) and submit by Saturday, May 1, 2021.  Your input is important and greatly appreciated! We will make the results available to the congregation once they have been tabulated.

Warning phishing schemer thieves are preying on Minnesota United Methodist Churches, their leadership and members.
The phishing schemer thieves manipulate a church leader's email address.
Last year, Pastor Dave experienced this and emails were sent to church members. Be aware. It could happen again; it is happening to other Minnesota UM Church leaders right now. Be aware. Please know that the leadership of Mt Bethel Church or the Minnesota Annual Conference will Never be sending you an email requesting you send a church leader gift cards for some mission need no matter how desperate or urgent the phishing email reads. That is not how Mt Bethel Church or the MN Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church operates generous giving to those in need.   The phishing schemer thieves manipulate a church leader's email address to look-read similar to the proper email address; If you receive such an email, Delete it, Trash it.
