Caring
for our
Outdoor Altar
We are so thankful to Dennis and Cindy Quinn for their beautiful work on the church grounds this Eastertide.
If you would like to help them with gardening and weeding, the Altar Committee would thank and celebrate you for caring for our outdoor altar.
Call (508) 335-9824 if interested.
Thank you,
Margaret Newsome
Or you can organize a collection of items through school, work, or neighborhood, and sign up for a week to restock the pantry with items collected. The pantry is in the Cable Gardens parking lot.
Given the lack of public transportation in Ipswich, a driver’s license and a car are keys to steady and better paying employment and further education. Two Ipswich Refugee Program families are looking for used cars in good mechanical condition. One family needs a reliable car for work. The other family needs a car for their teenager to get to a job and to community college classes.
If you have a car to donate or sell, please contact Peter Johnson to describe the vehicle. He will determine if the car might be suitable. Then the car will need to be inspected by a mechanic at IRP expense before it can be accepted by the program. Peter’s mobile: 978-927-7000 or email: premagni@verizon.net.
