Beloved community,

Thank you so much to those who joined us this past Saturday for our live event, and to all that have contributed towards critical survivor services! We have had 737 different people donate so far to the campaign, from as far away as Wales, Japan, and India! Wow! Our global community is coming together to ensure survivors have what they need in these difficult times.

We have had contributions that range from $26 to $20,000 and on average, a gift of $425! This is amazing, and we are so touched by your contributions to our organization. We have only $65,000 left to reach our goal, and we need all of us to help get there!

API Chaya is committed to meeting the needs of individuals in all our communities to reach safety. We provide free and confidential support for immigrant survivors of violence and do ongoing violence prevention work. Any contribution that is meaningful to you, is meaningful to us and to the survivors we support. As a reminder, your gifts go directly to supporting the basic needs and resources for marginalized survivors.
Text reads: $5,000 can help a survivor of human trafficking establish safety in the US, and bring their children and spouse to reunite with them. $2,500 covers the move-in costs for a modest two-bedroom home in King County, so survivors fleeing violence can find a safe place with their children. $1,000 is a two week emergency hotel stay for a survivor fleeing abuse. $500 is one month of safe cell service for fifteen clients, especially important when stuck at home with the person causing them harm. $250 allows an undocumented survivor to provide basic needs for the entire family. $100 is internet and electricity bills to allow youth to access remote learning and so survivors and their children can stay connected to their advocate and communities." To the left, the brown API family is smiling same as banner image, text reads "Your Support Matters. Thank You." Cloud banner on bottom has API Chaya logo and says "Unity Comes Full Circle, Donate today at apichaya.org/gala"

We want to honor Anu and Satya Nadella who pledged an incredible $20,000 gift! Thank you - your unwavering support is so meaningful to our whole community. And they are the winners of our two Alaska Airlines ticket vouchers!
