The World Has Changed,
So Must Your Finances.

Finance / Fundraising / Sponsorship
Workshops at #MND2021

We’re pretty well-known for our wide selection of sessions that range from communications to technology with so much more in-between. We tackle new ideas, promote new techniques, tools, and thought processes for nonprofits and the social sector.

Let me introduce you to three of our great speakers and their sessions around Finance, Accounting, and Fundraising Development. Knowing the financial needs of your organization and having a plan to accomplish them is necessary.

Chyla Graham

Chyla Graham

CNRG Accounting Advisory, LLC

I enjoy being a resource for nonprofits to draw on. By providing the back office support and (re)structuring that they need, I give them the time to work efficiently on the projects they love and improve their cash flow. I also fly trapeze. Yes, really. The process of flying trapeze flows right into my philosophy of business success. We all need guidance and support from someone experienced in what we are trying to accomplish, sometimes— someone who provides a more complete view of our goal. I provide expertise, feedback, and coaching to help your organization thrive.

My session is…

Accounting for Your Goals.

How can accounting help support your organizational goals? It's about more than just money in the bank. Let's talk through your organizational goals during this interactive workshop. We will see if your accounting reflects them. With your mission in mind, we'll consider some of the roadblocks and how to break them down. At the end of the session, attendees will better understand how their accounting can help reach their organizational goals.

Nicholas Curran

Numbers 4 Nonprofits (N4N)

I founded Numbers 4 Nonprofits (N4N) in 2012 to help nonprofits manage money. It is a true passion. I've been in public accounting since 1998 and started providing specialized accounting services to nonprofits in 2005.

I lead the N4N team in preparing nonprofits for annual audits, assisting with yearly budgeting, creating forward-focused financial projections, and offering a vital outside perspective.

My session is…

Projecting Through a Pandemic

Projecting can help you play out scenarios for your organization's current and long-term cash needs. In this session, we will learn how to take your organization's established budget for a given year and incorporate changes in the assumptions for the budget. From unanticipated reduced revenue such as what many saw during 2020, to growing revenue in 2021, these are scenarios we can help explore. Projecting can help you play out plans for your organization's current and long-term cash needs.

"What's changed?" and "What's stayed the same?" in asking for Major Gifts? Last year was a doozy, so it is good to remember that, "You, and your mission, ARE ESSENTIAL!" Major gifts are critical components for building your resilience in these remarkable times. They are critical to fueling your big vision and provide donors the opportunity to be significant. Madison Nonprofit Day is Something New

Perhaps an odd statement, after all we have been around for 12 years now. But, we didn't want to just try to bring the same old same old to virtual space. So we didn't. You'll find a combination of old and new. Our commitment to creating a quality conference has not changed, just the tools and methods that we are doing it through.
