Students and Youth in Action for World Refugee Day: open call for activities!

To support the joint Campaign ESU/VYRE "Students and Youth in Action for World Refugee Day", we have launched a Call for Activity for student-led groups to receive up to 500 euros to organise an activity in June with the aim support access to Education for young people with refugee and migrant backgrounds.

PLA on Student participation in IQA and Student-centred learning and implementation of ECTS

In the framework of the BWSE FORward project, we organised a Peer Learning Activity, taking place on 12 and 13 of April 2021, online. The PLA is on the topics of Student participation in internal quality assurance and Student-centred learning and implementation of ECTS with the aim of bringing together representatives from higher education institutions (HEI), national student bodies, QA agencies and other relevant stakeholders to discuss key problem areas identified in the Bologna with Student Eyes 2020 Publication and possible solutions.

Student life during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown Europe-wide insights

This report presents insights on student experiences during lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic based on questionnaire responses given by students studying in Europe in April 2020. In less technical terms, the research focus has examined the capacity of students, understood as a diverse group, to have reasonably positive academic experiences in a disaster context such as the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the role of their academic environment, social networks, emotional make-up, knowledge and skills and material resources in enabling such experiences.

Second IAU Global Survey on the Impact of COVID-19 on Higher Education around the World

Aimed at gathering substantial data on the ways global higher education systems are affected by the pandemic from an institutional standpoint, the Survey includes questions about the challenges encountered in four different areas: Governance and financing, teaching and learning, research, and societal/community engagement.

The survey is available in English, French, and Spanish and is open until 1 June 2021.
