FUND DEVELOPMENT- BOARD & STAFF ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Presented by Kathy MacFarlane May 11, 9-11am

In these uncertain times, non-profit fund development has never been more difficult, or more important. How do you divide fund development efforts on a Board with a staff member(s), and on a Board without? Where do the division of responsibilities lie? Successful fundraising is a team sport that involves engaged Board members, and potentially paid staff. Who does what, and how? This session will help you demystify fund development roles and responsibilities, and increase the probability of organizational fund development success.

Join us for detailed information about the division of responsibilities, and to receive some concrete tools for moving your organization's fund development forward. If applicable, it is best if both an organizational Administrator and Board member from each organization register to attend.
You will learn:
  • specific roles in fundraising
  • why is fundraising important
  • why do people give?
  • fund development organizational models
  • concrete tools that will help your organization move forward
