Scholarship Information You Can Use

Scholarship offerings individuals should apply for now!

At the April 15th PCPR Network Meeting the following scholarships were presented. Make sure those you support take full advantage of these opportunities. (The Zoom meeting can be view by clicking on this LINK.)

The Philadelphia Foundation has scholarships for a wide variety of individuals seeking funds for postsecondary education. To see all the scholarship offerings go to the scholarship page of their website. The list below are scholarships the Foundation is looking for applicant right now:

The Zeta Omicron Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Leadership and Scholarship Fund - for African-American males graduating from a Philadelphia high school
The 2021 Luther and Mary Ida Vandross Scholarship - for Undergraduate College Students
2021 Feinstein Fund for Philadelphia Scholars - for High School Seniors
The Richard A. Ash Scholarship - for High School Seniors, Undergraduate College students
The D. Colman Witte Scholarship - for High School Seniors, Undergraduate College students who demonstrate a commitment to the fields of art, architecture or interior design
The GSK Opportunity Scholarship - for residents in the five Pennsylvania counties of Greater Philadelphia (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia) who have overcome significant adversity the opportunity to pursue their dreams and improve their lives through higher education.
The 2021 Delta Iota Chapter Alumnae Scholarship Fund - for Sophomore, Junior and Senior students who are matriculating at Cheyney University and demonstrate leadership experience

The Octavius Catto Scholarship

The students who benefit the most are incoming full-time students without any college experience. Students who meet the eligibility criteria will be eligible for all supports of the Catto Scholarship (last-dollar tuition, basic needs support, enhanced academic and career coaching, and enhanced connection to services).
