Domestic travel is open in the Philippines!
After a year of closed borders, not just by the Philippines for foreign travelers, but also to our island Negros Oriental, we are more than excited that traveling has resumed on a domestic level. The Philippines are carefully opening traffic between islands, with some regions requiring quarantine still for any traveler whereas other regions require a recent Covid swab test or nothing other than a health declaration.
We have been very excited to receive visitors from other islands as well as Cebu and Manila. This is a small step and we cannot be sure that it will remain this way, but we are quietly hopeful that this is the beginning of a plan to eventually open up internationally. We promise to keep you informed!

Deluxe suite for six guests
Next to our family pools with close access to the Bakery and the Spa... Imagine staying together with your whole family in one room, but with no stress and plenty of space for everyone?
Our Duplex Family Suites are convenient and spacious room types for six guests, with a flexible approach to bed setup. 2 king sized and 2 twins? One king sized and 4 twins? 6 twin beds? It's all possible! We can also fit in a baby cot for a smaller child. With double bathrooms, toilets, TV's and two terraces, the family is in for a treat.

Thank you Negros Oriental
Atmosphere releases ONE card
We released the ONE card in April, to thank the residents of Negros Oriental for their amazing support during 2020. With the help of their patronage, we have been able to remain open. The ONE card is available for Negros Oriental residents only, for 1000 pesos. Card holders (with family) will receive our highest discount on accommodation until December 31 2022, and will have priority when booking Dine & Swim packages and day stays.

Yes, we dive and practice yoga
So, are guests just hiding in their rooms or lounging by their private pools you may wonder? Covid-19 has changed many things in the way we interact, but rest reassured, our guests are still active at Atmosphere. Once we were allowed to open up spa, dive and yoga services, we did so with safety measures in place of course. All of these services can easily be conducted privately one-on-one. During the busy Easter-period, our speed boat Eve was shuttling divers in small groups to and from coastal dive sites. Yogis were saluting the sun in the treehouse in the mornings, and private massage treatments in our award-winning open-air garden spa proved very popular.

New vegan and vegetarian dishes
Wellness and fitness has always been a focus at Atmosphere and many of our guests request for vegetarian or vegan options. As much as we are always happy to modify or create new dishes based on guest’s dietary needs, we recently felt it was time to add a few new vegetarian and vegan staple dishes to our All Day Dining menu. How about a Greek salad with tofu, a vegan couscous risotto or a roasted cauliflower steak? Or an Atmosphere jackfruit version of the classic Adobo or a falafel burger?

Sales Team
A busy few months for the sales team
The sales team at Atmosphere has been busy the past few months re-thinking strategies during Covid-19, making it easier for domestic guests to stay with us and at the same time reassuring international guests that we are ready for them as soon as borders open. Of course, we have been doing a lot of rescheduling of stays and we are grateful for your understanding. Some of you may have wondered why Aiko Valiente hasn’t been replying to your emails lately. Aiko is on maternity leave, and she gave birth to a beautiful daughter on the April 6. Her name is Aukia Fsahnia Valiente and we wish to extend a warm welcome to the newest and youngest “member” of the Atmosphere Team. As usual, Ollie Mischo manages international sales enquiries and Ulrika Kroon takes care of other sales or marketing related questions.

Covid procedures at Atmosphere
At Atmosphere, there is enough space to make social distancing easy. With our three swimming pools, our six public bathrooms (CR’s), large beach and spacious restaurant, social distancing comes naturally. We operate with required safety protocols in place, including social distancing, foot baths, face masks, hand sanitizer in all public areas and diligent cleaning of all guest rooms.

Atmosphere opening hours and days
Atmosphere continues to be open Thursdays to Sundays for overnight stays and Swim & Dine, as well as for lunch and dinner. We hope that we will be able to open 7 days a week sooner rather than later! For Day Stays, the opening hours are 11am to 8pm, during which time you can use the pools, the beach and other facilities, as well as have lunch and dinner in Breeze restaurant or around the pool bar. The option of booking your own private Pool Suite for the day remains with the same opening hours, and that also gives you access to the rest of the resort. Lunch and dinner guests are of course still welcome without an entrance fee during the same hours – just contact us beforehand for a reservation! For overnight guests, we offer breakfast Friday to Monday between 6.30 and 9.30.
