For the past three Saturday evenings I have been teaching a Live Virtual Voicing Class to ten students! It was a fantastic success! The students learned how to select soundboard materials and then brace and voice those soundboards. The students then sent me their tops for a final evaluation. With today's technology we were able to hear the acoustic change as students shaped their braces during the voicing process. All of this with live Q&A, multiple camera angles and streamed in HD to the comfort of their own shops. As you can see from the comments, the students are pretty excited about what they learned and I look forward to seeing pics of some great guitars built with the tops developed during the classes.
My next Live Virtual Class will be my French polish technique. It is scheduled for June 5, 12 and 19 at 6:00PM Mountain Daylight Time. All you need is a computer with a web cam and the willingness to learn how to French polish. Please contact me for more info if interested.
