Bio-inspired artificial intelligence refers to intelligent systems inspired by the natural world, in particular biology. Such systems have thousands of useful applications in fields as diverse as control theory, telecommunications, music and art.
In this webinar, organised by NORA - the Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium and the Norwegian Open AI Lab, we’ll take a closer look at the development of bio-inspired artificial intelligence happening in Norway.
Multiple researchers will join us and share their work within this exciting AI subfield:
- Introduction by Marianne Fyhn (UiO)
- Benjamin Dunn (Associate professor, NTNU)
- Mikkel Lepperød (Postdoctoral fellow, UiO)
- Gunnar Tufte (Professor, NTNU)
- Stefano Nichele (Associate professor, OsloMet)
Klas Pettersen (CEO, NORA) and Trym Holter (Director, NAIL) will lead the webinar.
