Latest Dribl Updates & Canteen Volunteers
Hello Saints Coaches and Managers,

Hopefully everyone has had a good start to the season and enjoying their football. It's been great to see so many Saints teams on the parks and it is looking like being a record year for the club in terms of player numbers. If your team is short on players you have until the 31st of May to register more.

Latest DRIBL info
The DRIBL mobile app continues to have frequent updates to fix bugs and implement enhancements.
It is worth checking before you head off to your games that you have the latest version installed on your phone.

Entering the score into DRIBL
While most teams are getting the score updated there are a few we have had to follow-up with in both weeks.
I know referees have been telling Managers they enter the score on the matchsheet, which is correct, but Managers need to enter the score on the Recorder tab. This replaces the manual process of physically dropping off the matchsheet so is a great improvement.

At the end of the game go out of the "Matchsheet" area, select "Recorder" and then enter the score for the relevant game.
I suggest doing this with the opposition Manager so you know you are both entering the score correctly.
Please make sure you know who is listed as the Home Team irrespective of where the game is being played, and what the final score was. This is especially important in high scoring games where we are seeing the most disputes between teams.

Canteen Volunteers
All Under 6 to U11 teams will be scheduled for Canteen duty twice throughout the season.
We do not expect Coaches and Managers to take this task on themselves as they are already volunteering each week, but we do ask you to coordinate the other parents to assist for a few hours on a Saturday morning.
We do not believe that this is an unreasonable commitment and most people who get involved have a great time, so if you are having trouble with people coming forward please let me know.

Clubs who have created a culture of volunteering are much more likely to be successful, be more fun and enjoyable to be apart of, have more social benefits and above all have a strong sense of belonging and community.

Additionally if there are any Senior teams who would be keen to volunteer one weekend please get in touch with Annike our Canteen Manager (annike.lindhout@gmail.com) as it is a very rewarding experience.
