The 2021 Railway Modellers Meet of BC (starting May 1st) features some interesting presentations from a number of well known Model Railway Manufacturers. This is the first time these manufacturers have participated in the RMMBC. In previous years we have had manufacturer booths at the meet to give meet participants the opportunity to meet and look at the company's products. Since we aren't able to have an in person meet this year we're doing the next best thing - virtual presentations. If you haven't registered yet - don't delay! Keynote Presentation and Clinic Lineup
The Meet kicks off on Saturday May 1st, 2021 with the Keynote Address by Iain Rice at 10am Pacific Time. Starting with the notion that model railway design is about much more than a track plan, Iain outlines his philosophy of integrated design and will share observations on a lifetime of building model railways. This promises to be a great start to the meet presented by one of the best known names in the hobby.
The clinic lineup for the RMMBC will have something for everyone. Super detailing models, weathering, layout construction, electronics and more! Display and Meet the Modeller
There is still time to get your projects (finished or not) submitted for the Display Room and "Meet the Modeller". Find a new source of inspiration or the answer to a question you have puzzled over for a long time. Take a look at the Display Room and see what has already been entered. While "Meet the Modeller" is optional, don't miss the chance to talk with the Display Coordinator about what you find the most interesting about this great hobby.

Virtual Layout Tours
The Virtual Layout Tour will take you on a guided tour (by the layout owner) of six great model railroads in BC, most of which have not been on the RMMBC layout tour in previous years. Get inspired by the great work these fellow hobbyists have done bringing their vision to life. We'll have the tours over the full course of the meet starting May 1st and continuing May 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th. The full details of the tour can be found <here>.
Register today - the cutoff to sign up for the opening session is April 29th! You can still register for later sessions after that, but for each of them the cutoff will be the Tuesday at 7pm Pacific Time prior to the Thursday sessions to allow the coordinators time to get information out to all registrants.
