ÉQUIPE-CHOC ENGLISH COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER

April 2021
Dear colleagues,

April brought chirping birds in the mornings, beautiful budding flowers, and longer days for lovely afternoon walks!

Being full of gratitude to Mother Earth, and treating ourselves to nature’s little gifts is part of taking good care of ourselves. For Kathryn is a poem that I came across through a dear friend. This poem is written by Laura Tohe, who is a Native American author and poet. Dr Tohe is the recipient of the Navajo Nation Poet Laureate 2015-2019. She presently teaches at Arizona State University, Dr Tohe captured my heart with her words through this poem, so I wanted to share it with you.

Goodbye, Winter and welcome Spring! Please enjoy this beautiful season before the mosquitoes come for a visit!

Please continue to take care of yourselves and stay safe!

Micheline Ammar

I would like to dedicate this poem to my dear friend and colleague Hisham who passed away on April 4, 2021.
