The Rights Studio Festival

 

For those interested in the importance of play, childhood games and preserving a playful spirit, you can tune in to the special screening tomorrow, 20 April, of 'Drops of Joy', a film exploring the art and necessity of play, followed by a Q&A. Book your free place here

This screening is part of the Rights Studio Festival, a month-long series of online events and content which announces the launch of CRIN's sister organisation in Berlin, The Rights Studio.

More Than Objects: Interactive Illustrations

Can we collectively turn everyday objects into illustrations that tell the narrative of children’s rights? Send us your photos, and every week our Art Director and Illustrator Miriam Sugranyes will reimagine the objects into illustrations.

More Than Noise: Interactive Audio

What happens when we stop and listen to all the sounds that make up our everyday lives? Share with us short audio recordings, and musician Mel Uye-Parker will transform your crowdsourced sounds in the live music session Collective Vibrations on 29 April.

 

20 April

Drops of Joy – Film Screening & Q&A

Film screening of Drops of Joy, which explores the art and the necessity of play, followed by a Q&A hosted by journalist Irene Caselli. 

 

22 April

Seen & Not Heard: Comedy Gig

Get ready for a special evening hosted by musical satirists Jonny Baptists, celebrating youth and challenging power with comedians Nish Kumar, Josie Long and Charlie George, among others. 

 

27 April

Tabula Rasa: Poetry Night

Join us as we dare to reimagine dominant narratives with this special evening of spoken word poetry in collaboration with the art project Sawti, featuring live spoken word performances from artists around the world. 

 

29 April

Collective Vibrations

Tune in to our live music finale with Mel Uye-Parker, who will turn the everyday sounds you shared with us throughout the festival into audio magic, revealing the power of collective sharing, learning and listening.
