Dallas Ballet Center's Younger Students Production, CANDYLAND EXPRESS, will take place on Saturday, May 8 at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters.
Tickets for families of performing dancers will go on sale tomorrow, April 20 at 10am. Tickets may be purchased either by phone (214-743-2400) or in person at the box office (1309 Canton St., Dallas, 75201). For more details, please see the packet sent by email on April 15.
All remaining tickets will be available for purchase by the public beginning on Thursday, May 6.
We are planning to livestream CANDYLAND EXPRESS as well; details will be communicated as soon as they are available.

Looking for a fun way to add dance to your 3-7 year old's summer? Discovery Dance Camp is the place to be! Join us for a whimsical, wonderful week of fun-filled activities. Each Discovery Dance Camp features a fun and unique theme explored through music, movement, literature and crafts. Because each week is different, you can enroll in multiple sessions and have fun dancing all summer long! Registration is open now. ($80 per week)
Session I: June 14-18, 10am – 12 noon Enchanted Garden
- Dancing daisies, twirling tulips, flying fairies and leaping ladybugs. Watch your little dancer bloom during this magical week!
Session II: July 26-30, 10am – 12 noon Winnie the Pooh
- Come visit the Hundred Acre Wood where you’ll meet Pooh, Tigger, and all their friends, too! Girls and boys alike will be delighted as camp brings this treasured classic to life every day. Introduce your little dancer to a timeless world of make-believe and friendship!
Session III: August 2-6, 10am – 12 noon Countdown to Creativity
- Join us as we countdown to a blast-off of fun! As we explore all things numbers, we’ll learn just how important counting is in dance, rhythm, and music. During our last camp of the summer, escape the heat by keeping the beat!
