YOUR Vehicle Can Change A Life!

We have started our new Vehicle Donation Program called Gift-A-Lift, and we are asking for donations of vehicles that we will be giving to a youth transitioning out of foster care who has been nominated by an adult to help them get to where they need. It's almost impossible to live in the Florida Parishes without a vehicle.

The James Samaritan Story

We invest in children because God loves our children and the foster community is so invisible and underserved. Our mission is to give youth transitioning out of foster care the opportunities and support they need to develop into productive members of their communities. Relationships are key. We surround our youth transitioning out of foster care with an OPEN TABLE, which are mentors who become involved in all the major aspects of the youth’s life. Relationships and community have such a significant impact on a youth’s life and growth,

Rallying for Transitional Youth

Come out to First Baptist Church Covington TOMORROW April 20, 1:30 PM and find out how you can make a difference in the community. We will share with you the OPEN TABLE MODEL where these youth transitioning out of foster care are surrounded by six to eight screened and trained volunteers that walk with them through their transition to independence.
