It must be Spring!

GiveBIG coming...
     May 4th and 5th

.
We have seriously missed our usual times to be with members and friends in the last year. Our tiny office has not been a safe space for volunteers, thus slowing our work. The Community Program NOW&THEN presented via Zoom in November was very successful...we may create other programs in that format this year.  We’ve been delighted to publicize the Historic Signs Tour as a safe outdoor educational activity!   A generous offer by Beth and Mark Traverso to allow displays in the windows of their recently purchased building at 33719 SE Redmond-Fall City Road gave us an opportunity to share some history and a fun Christmas display, as well as a site for our Pop Up Store on a very cold day in December!
We hope you will put GiveBIG on your calendar and use this annual event as a simple way to support our work. It would be much appreciated. Early giving begins on April 20.
Now&Then came to Fall City for the Prescott-Harshman House in April. Use the links below to see the article in Pacific NW Magazine on April 11th, or the longer online article with more photos and information.  Weekly Wizards Clay Eals and Jean Sherrard create this wonderful glimpse of history every Sunday.

We are grateful to King County Heritage 4Culture for ongoing support for our work, and for special support
of the first portion of the Historic Signs project.

Generous grants from the King County Community Service Area Program helped with costs for the large Early Schools and Brick School signs.
